Jason Leo Bantle

https://bantlephoto.com/

Jason began his photography career while conducting biological research on different species of carnivores in Canada’s central Arctic. He completed his Master of Science research project on the Arctic Fox, meanwhile falling in love with the beauty of Northern Canada. During Jason’s masters degree research at the University of Saskatchewan he began teaching biology labs and working as an eco-guide. He guided trips to photograph polar bears, beluga whales, grizzly bears, black bears and orca whales.

His growing desire to share his experiences with others ultimately led him to a career in wildlife photography. Jason’s images are all from Canada and Alaska. Jason opened his first independent gallery at the entrance of Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan in the spring of 2005. Over the years he has expanded his business, opening galleries in Saskatoon and Waskesiu, Saskatchewan, as well as Canmore and Banff, Alberta. Jason’s goal is to educate and stir an appreciation for Canadian wildlife, thereby aiding in its preservation.

Virtually all of Jason’s images are captured in the wild using 35mm film. No filters or digital enhancements are used on any of his prints.

![""]("https://roamtransit.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Wolf1JasonLeoBantle-1024x427.jpg")
